Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
James 1:27 NIV
During the month we had our last visitors and teams, we were so blessed to have them, and we are very grateful for all the work, service and love they gave to this place, the kids and us too.
This month we also witnessed the first sports tournaments that our children had through the school’s sports program. They did a great job; they won many games. We are very happy for them and proud of their achievements.
One of the blessings we share with you is that every Wednesday you have a “family dinner” along with prayer time, biblical devotion and worship time here at Ancla. These times are very good since they bring unity; and we can seek God all together as an orphanage. We thank God for the brave and constant heart of our director, his family and his work team for providing this time.
I also thank God for the privilege he gives us Sunday after Sunday to have “church at home” and share with the children, it is a privilege without a doubt.
Personally, I thank God for letting me get here, I have been working in this place for a year already. God has been so good to me, he has sustained me, he has provided me with everything I need, and I feel very privileged to be able to serve him in this place and be blessed also here. My prayer is that Jesus will show up in my life more and more and that I can be a blessing to everyone in this place. I pray that next year can be also a great year for the glory of God.
As for work, we thank God for his provision and sustenance, for such an incredible work team that he has provided for this place, for the life of each child who is the heart of this place, and also we thank God for each donor we pray blessings form all of them.
Thank you for reading us brothers and sisters, let us remain firm in loving the Lord, serving Him and sharing His love and salvation. Let us not be discouraged, he has already conquered this world, sin and death, and we have beautiful promises in him. Our future is assured in him, let us not fear. Thank you for being part of this beautiful calling by caring for orphans and widows.
